In Oceanside, a local resident is asking the Coastal Commission to approve a seawall for his property. He is worried about the erosion of his shoreline due to rising tides.
The Coastal Commission should approve a seawall to fill the gap at 245 Pacific Ave. This seawall is located at the end of an eroding seawall, which also protects dozens more homes throughout the city. In September, the Coastal Commission refused to grant his request. It stated that the gap of 50 feet would have to be filled in.
Mission Bay
